Nike has had some incredible campaigns, and one of the most memorable belonged to puppet voiced by Chris Rock, Lil Penny. The campaign was so successful, that Lil Penny was actually given his own shoe, Nike 1/2 Cent.
Set to release on october 20th at House of Hoops and Footlocker locations, Nike has but together a special eggplant foamposite version of the shoe. The 1/2 cent is already a mash-up of version 1-4 of the Air Penny sneaker. The shoe was the puppet’s player edition instead of another shoe for Penny who actually had retired by the time the shoe was released. Will you be picking up a pair on October 20th?
